AVOD streaming provider Netzkino has signed a prestigious film deal with the renowned distributor New Regency. As part of the cooperation, Netzkino will receive a total of 61 premium feature films. As of today, the top flicks are available free of charge via the streaming portal www.netzkino.de.
The thrilling films include Fight Club, Natural Born Killers, L.A. Confidential, Love & other Drugs and many more. In the new bundle, every genre is covered. The newly licensed film titles are ad-financed and have not been available for video on demand in German-speaking countries to date. Within the new bundle also animated films are included, such as The Fantastic Mr. Fox, which is based on the popular novel by British author Roald Dahl.
In addition, fans will recognize some faces: many of the leading roles will be played by world-famous actors such as Oscar-winner Brad Pitt, Whoopi Goldberg, Keanu Reeves, Matthew McConaughey, and Jodie Foster.
In the upcoming weeks, the feature films will also be available on Netzkino's YouTube channel. Premium content of this magnitude has not been legally available on YouTube until now. This is the first time that Netzkino has offered major films for free streaming on the world's largest video platform.
The cooperation between Netzkino and New Regency has an extraordinarily high significance for the Berlin-based streaming company, as CEO Hauk Markus states:
"Due to this cooperation, Netzkino has reached another milestone in its company history. For the first time, we are able to provide our users with major-like content on our platform, which will be available on all technical devices. This also includes our YouTube-channel ‘Netzkino’, where we are counting 1.21 million subscribers.“
The A-Movies from the deal between Netzkino and New Regency, will complement the video library of the Berlin AVOD-provider for a total of one year. All blockbusters are now available for streaming free of charge.
