Germany's largest AVOD provider Netzkino has entered into a groundbreaking cooperation with the renowned film distributor Sony Pictures Entertainment Deutschland GmbH. As part of the prestigious cooperation, Netzkino will receive a total of 120 new films, which can be streamed on the company's website - free of charge and without registration.
Netzkino is partnering with Sony Pictures on a new major package. Included are numerous popular American and European feature films of all genres, including: The Age of Innocence, Almost Famous, Larry Flynt, Johnny Mnemonic, and Dr. Strangelove.
In addition to popular feature films, Japanese anime will also add some spectacular flicks to the net cinema video library. For example, the anime classic Streamboy will be in Netzkino's library. However, particularly worth mentioning here is Cowboy Bebop - The Movie, which will get a remake in the form of a series later this year.
Furthermore, many prominent Hollywood stars will flicker across the home screen. Award-winning actors such as Robin Williams, Julia Roberts, Winona Ryder, Heath Ledger, Nicholas Cage and Orlando Bloom are among the cast of the current film deal between Netzkino and Sony Pictures.
Premium major content of this dimension has not been available for free online streaming until now. The cooperation with Sony Pictures represents a milestone for the popular Berlin-based streaming service.
Sony Pictures Entertainment GmbH has been a global player in the entertainment business for decades. Particularly through the production and distribution of film and television content, Sony Pictures has developed into a major studio with worldwide operations. In the upcoming weeks, new titles from the major deal with Sony Pictures will be posted online daily on the website www.netzkino.de and on all Netzkino apps. The A-Movies are now free to stream for film fans for a total of one year.
