100 million views on YouTube in 2021: Netzkino reaches new milestone
As in the year before, the feature film platform Netzkino by the multichannel network Spotfilm Networx has cracked the mark of 100 million views on YouTube in 2021.
With around 1.29 subscribers, the AVOD provider is one of the most popular feature film platforms on YouTube. On average, a total of around 300,000 views are gained per day - with the weekends being the busiest days and thus contributing the most to the total number of views.
In the last trimester of the year, the following 3 flicks have emerged as top films: Big Mommas House - Like Father Like Son (650,000 views), Red Sniper (460,000), and Die Liebe kommt mit dem Christkind (320,000). For these alone, the total click number has already reached around 1.4 million.
The most popular flick of the entire year is the family film Little Gangster, which recorded more than one million views in 2021 alone; closely followed by the action adventure The Dead Lands with around 900,000 views.
The exponentially increasing views are also having a positive impact on advertisers: Many views, accompanied by as many unique users as possible, equate to a high reach.
